Research Resources

The Research Support team includes specialists who can help faculty and PhD students with most aspects of the research life cycle – from acquiring data to accelerating analysis. 

Research and services available to Kellogg PhD students include:

• Advanced computing systems, scientific software, and secure storage for confidential data.
• Computational consulting experts to help with data collection, transformation, and numeric algorithms.
• Workshops for PhD students on data and programming topics.
• A portfolio of commercial research datasets and support for negotiating access to corporate data.
• Behavioral Research Support including student, community, and online subject pools; lab facilities; and design, preparation, and execution of studies.
• Professional manuscript editing.

Northwestern IT provides a wealth of resources for students and faculty for their computing and research needs. 

Support ranges from general computer support, such as software, hardware, and network assess, to research computer resources that include high performance computing networks and servers, access to data and storage systems, and training.

Northwestern University has 10 libraries staffed by experts in copyright, data management and digital publishing.

Research tools and guides support our library's collection of books and journals and 1,003 research databases. Students have access to vast repositories of information on such topics as psychology & cognitive science, public policy, sociology, and social policy. There are resources dedicated to management and business that include, but are not limited to, companies/industries, financial markets, healthcare, marketing research, and social media.
