An exciting spring season for Kellogg Executive Women’s Network (KEWN) began with a celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8, 2022. Professor Ellen Taaffe ’97 MBA moderated a virtual panel, “Blazing a New Trail: The Future of Women at Work,” featuring Ashley Goldsmith ’07 MBA, chief people officer at Workday; Rosemary Haefner ’08 MBA, chief people officer at SPINS; and Holly Briedis ’14 MBA, EVP and chief digital officer at Fossil Group Inc. Dean Francesca Cornelli provided a warm welcome to attendees, who joined from all over the U.S. and around the globe. Panelists discussed the many transformative changes taking place in the workplace and discussed how women can best lead, respond and adapt.
In April, Betsy Ziegler, CEO of 1871, moderated KEWN’s 6th Annual Entrepreneurship Panel: “Disruptive Women: Changing Their Space.” Panelists Erica Douglas ’15 MBA, cosmetic chemist and CEO of beauty products manufacturer mSEED; Alison Gutterman ’02 MBA, CEO of chemicals manufacturer Jelmar; and Ana Dutra ’94 MBA, a public/private board member and global adviser, shared the challenges of disrupting traditionally male-dominated spaces such as manufacturing, finance and engineering.
KEWN is looking forward to engaging with Kellogg alumnae who reside across the U.S. and beyond, with many in-person, virtual and hybrid events planned for 2022-23.
